Documents required for Section 8 Company Registration:

1. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

• DSC for all proposed directors (to sign electronic documents).

2. Director Identification Number (DIN)

• DIN for all proposed directors (can be applied along with the registration process).

3. Identity Proof of Directors (Any one of the following for each director):

• PAN Card (mandatory for Indian nationals)

• Passport (mandatory for foreign nationals)

4. Address Proof of Directors (Any one of the following for each director, not older than 2 months):

• Aadhaar Card

• Voter ID Card

• Driving License

• Passport

• Utility Bill (Electricity, Water, or Gas)

• Bank Statement

5. Proof of Registered Office Address (Any one of the following, not older than 2 months):

• Utility Bill (Electricity, Water, or Gas)

• Rent Agreement or Lease Deed (if the premises are rented)

• Property Ownership Document (if the premises are owned)

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the property owner if the premises are rented.

6. Memorandum of Association (MOA)

• Document that defines the company's objectives and scope of activities. This should include non-profit objectives.

7. Articles of Association (AOA)

• Document outlining the rules and regulations governing the internal management of the Section 8 Company.

8. Declaration of Income and Expenditure

• A declaration stating that the company intends to apply its profits for promoting its objectives and will not pay dividends to its members.

9. Detailed Project Report

• A report outlining the objectives, activities, and plans for the company to demonstrate its purpose and non-profit nature.

10. Declaration by Directors (Form INC-9)

• A declaration from each director that they are not disqualified from becoming a director and that all documents submitted are correct.

11. Copy of Subscriber Sheet

• Document signed by all subscribers, specifying their details and the number of shares subscribed (if applicable).

12. Proof of Payment of Registration Fees

• Challan or proof of payment of the fee for company registration with the MCA.
