Complete Specification
A detailed complete specification must be submitted, including:
Title of the Invention: A descriptive title that reflects the essence of the invention.
Field of the Invention: Description of the technical field to which the invention pertains.
Background of the Invention: Information about prior art and existing problems that the invention addresses.
Summary of the Invention: An overview of the invention and its advantages.
Detailed Description: A comprehensive description of the invention, including how it works, its components, and its benefits.
Claims: Clear and concise claims that define the scope of the invention's protection.
Abstract: A brief abstract summarizing the invention (usually up to 150 words).
Drawings/Diagrams
Any technical drawings, sketches, or diagrams that illustrate the invention. These should be labeled and referenced in the specification.
Declaration of Inventorship
A declaration stating the names and addresses of all inventors involved in the creation of the invention.
Priority Documents (if applicable)
If claiming priority from an earlier application, copies of the priority documents must be submitted.
Power of Attorney (if applicable)
A signed Power of Attorney (Form 2) if a patent attorney or agent is filing the application on behalf of the inventor.
Identity Proof of the Applicant
For individuals: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport.
For companies: Certificate of Incorporation or any government-issued registration document.
Business Registration Document (if applicable)
A copy of the business registration certificate (such as GST registration or MSME registration) for companies and partnerships.
Address Proof
A copy of the address proof of the applicant, such as utility bills or rental agreements.
