Documents required for GST E-Way Bill:

1. GSTIN of the Consignor

• The Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) of the supplier (consignor).

2. GSTIN of the Consignee

• The GSTIN of the recipient (consignee) to whom the goods are being supplied.

3. Invoice/Bill of Supply

• A copy of the invoice or bill of supply for the goods being transported, including:

  • Invoice number

  • Date of the invoice

  • Description of goods

  • HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) codes

  • Total value of goods

4. Details of the Transporter

• Information about the transporter, including:

  • Transporter ID (if registered)

  • Vehicle number (if using own transport)

  • Mode of transport (road, rail, air, or ship)

5. Distance of Transportation

• The distance between the place of supply and the destination where the goods are being transported.

6. Bill of Lading/Airway Bill (if applicable)

• A copy of the bill of lading or airway bill if the goods are being transported by ship or air.

7. Delivery Challan (if applicable)

• A delivery challan may be needed if the goods are being transported without an invoice (for example, in case of job work or return of goods).
