Documents required for Labour Licence (State & Central):

1. Application Form

• Completed application form as prescribed by the respective Labour Department (State or Central).

2. Copy of Registration Certificate

• Certificate of registration under the Shops and Establishments Act, Factories Act, or the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (for the principal employer).

3. Employer’s PAN Card

• PAN card of the employer or contracting firm.

4. Address Proof of the Employer

• Utility bill, rent agreement, or property ownership proof.

5. Identity Proof of the Employer

• Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, or driving license.

6. Contract Agreement

• Copy of the agreement between the employer and contractor, specifying the terms of work.

7. List of Workers

• Details including names, ages, and job roles of the workers.

8. Challan/Proof of Fee Payment

• Proof of payment for the Labour License fee.

9. Work Order Copy

• Work order or letter of intent from the principal employer with details of the work.

10. Affidavit

• Declaration of compliance with applicable labour laws.

11. ESI & EPF Registration Certificates

• Copies of registration under Employees' State Insurance (ESI) and Employees' Provident Fund (EPF).

12. Bank Account Details

• Cancelled cheque or bank statement of the business account.

13. Proof of Address of Worksite

• Rent agreement, property tax receipt, or other proof for the worksite address.

14. Safety Plan (if applicable)

• Document outlining safety measures for labourers (if required for certain industries).
